My 2024 Q2 Roundup - Extra

With my wrapup list, I mostly want to share what stuff I've been listening to a lot recently, and also mostly new releases that I want to share.

Here's some more songs that I didn't include in the wrapup list for whatever reason, maybe I haven't listened to enough, maybe I found them after making the list, or in this case, I think this song from 2017 is "a bit too old" to include in the list.

In hindsight, I shouldn't have cared, and just have gone ahead and included this song. Oh well, I'm not going back to edit the wrapup list that I already shared publicly, maybe next time.

whaledontsleep had been a core member of the jpop wave of recent years, kickstarting the popularity of stars such as yama and ado . But for whatever reason, whaledontsleep himself just never got that much popularity off of it.

I was super surprised when he collabed with the vocalist of 時速36km! The band's song 素晴らしい日々 is one of my favourite songs. Also featuring the vocalist of GLIM SPANKY, check out the EP:

Reminds me a bit of People 1 , a band that I also like.

As much as I love kinoue64, I feel like some of his stuff just are kindda meh, and I didn't really like the other 3 tracks on this EP , so I just kindda forgot about this EP until after I made the list.

Man is this last track good.
